Donate, Volunteer, Foster, and More

The YFA team advocates for youth and families, but we cannot do it alone. We rely on the communities we serve to join with us step up and help provide additional support. Here are some ways you can help support our mission to serve children and families:

Monetary and In-Kind Donations

Monetary and in-kind donations are always welcome and put to good use. Our shelters and programs periodically have specific needs, a list of which can be found here, along with instructions on how to drop off your donation and what we can and cannot accept.

Volunteer

Our volunteers have played a dynamic role in our growth and ability to serve children and families over the past 50+ years. Individuals and organizations partner and support us through such events as the Rap River Run and Cook for Kids. In addition, we have a dedicated and talented volunteer Board of Directors and Leadership Councils. If you are interested in becoming a YFA Volunteer, please contact us at info@yfainc.org.

Sponsor, Host, or Participate in Fundraising Events

YFA is always looking for corporate sponsors for our events, and individuals are encouraged to participate in events like the Rap River Run and others. If you are interested in hosting an event to benefit YFA, please contact us at info@yfainc.org.

Share Our Mission

Share our mission by following us on social media and sharing our posts and events. Let your elected officials know how important programs that support youth and families are to you and your community so they will continue to fund these evidence-based programs.

Foster a Child

Become a foster parent to a child (or children) in need. It can be incredibly rewarding! Click here if you are in Pasco County or follow this link if you are in Citrus or Hernando Counties.

Planned Giving

Leave a legacy through planned giving. A gift to Youth and Family Advocates in your estate plans provides a legacy to serve our mission and make a difference in the lives of future generations. Bequests are easy to arrange, will not alter your lifestyle, and can be easily modified if your needs change.
