Outreach Caseworker: AA / BA preferred; HSD or GED required. Responsible for outreach, development, and community education activities in Polk County under the supervision of the Program Director. Conducts education and outreach and offers emergency shelter and related services to young people who have been, or who are at risk of being sexually abused or exploited. Responsible for the clinical delivery of services including individual, family, and group therapies; clinical assessment; participation in clinical treatment teams; clinical training presentations under supervision of Program Director; authoring and maintenance of all clinical documentation requirements including clinical treatment plans and assurance of clinical contract and regulatory compliance goals. Program Manager: MSW/MA required; related management experience. Salary range high 30's to mid 40's based on education and experience. Entry level management position for our Family Intervention Team (FIT) in Pasco County. FIT provides intensive, crisis oriented in home Prevention and Diversion Services for children and families who are at risk of entering the child welfare system due to abuse and/or neglect. Will supervise a team of counselors and parent aides in East and West Pasco and one clerical support position. Manage program contracts ensuring that services are delivered as designed, budgets are met and outcome measures defined by the program are accomplished. Maintain collaborative relationships with other agencies, funding sources and DCF. Participate in Workgroup meetings and Case staffings conducted by DCF.

Family Counselor: Masters Degree; 0-3 years post Masters clinical\counseling experience or Bachelor’s Degree; 4+ years post Bachelors experience directly in human services, preferably in counseling. Responsible for counseling children and their families using standard counseling techniques in a home-based service program under direct supervision of Program Manager. Must have special qualifications in Family Preservation of education/experience in working with children and foster/adoptive/natural families, knowledge of family systems, child abuse and child welfare issues and be strongly committed to family reunification and preservation of the family. Conducts crisis intervention and other assessments, prepares treatment plans; psycho-socials; assure clinical contract and regulatory compliance goals; provides case management and family intervention and counseling, provides home visits as appropriate. Parent Aide: Bachelors degree in Behavioral Science field preferred; AA with counseling experience acceptable or HDS or GED with extensive experience in home services. Family Resource Specialist: (2 openings) Master’s degree preferred; with 1-2 years experience in human services, social work or related field. Will locate and reconnect extended family members (including lost parents) for children in foster care, especially those who will soon age out of the system; and provide leadership in ensuring the principles of family engagement are implemented for families assigned. This professional will (a) follow the Family Finders process in an effort to identify family members and work to build relationships with children in care that may result in an ongoing bond with family members and possible placement and permanency, and (b) plan, coordinate, and implement family engagement practices for families assigned. Must have expertise in substance abuse, mental health and domestic violence issues; advanced verbal and written communication skills; familiarity with the community and support agencies; experience working in a social service or family support service setting; Will work in a fast- paced environment and must possess the ability and skills to make competent and timely decisions regarding the disposition of referrals and assessments with the primary focus being the safety and well-being of children. Office Specialist: HSD / GED required; AA degree or Business School preferred; 2+ years related work experience. Provides clerical and administrative support to Case Management Teams. Requires a high level of confidentiality, good verbal and written communication skills; must be computer literate including word processing/spreadsheet. Support position with responsibility for greeting and directing in person visitors/clients as well as directing telephone inquiries on a moderately complex switchboard/multiple phone system. This experience should include providing social services in a child welfare agency, child development, family services or supervisory experience in one of these areas. Must be certified as a Department of Children and Families Child Protection Professional. This professional is responsible for monitoring and evaluating case management services; establishing and implementing internal control systems to monitor compliance with program requirements. This professional is required to have moderately complex job skills; a moderate level of autonomy, excellent organizational skills; strong written and verbal communication skills; computer literacy, and demonstrated ability to create spreadsheets and other tracking and measurement tools.
